This site is situated in a remote area of Scotland’s west coast. The project was a holiday home for the client and as a result had several planning constraints, namely floorplate size aswell as external massing and material choices. Black charred timber cladding was specified for the exterior whilst Internally, bedroom sizes were kept to a modest size allowing a open plan kitchen, lounge dining area. Planning was granted in 2022 with construction due to start in summer 2025.
